  1. First and Last Name
  2. Billing and Delivery Address
  3. Phone Number
  4. Email Address
  5. Password
  6. Order History
  7. Orders and Invoices

An account is super handy. We store data from previous orders, invoices, your personal information, and your favorite colors and products. This way, you don’t have to fill in your personal information again every time you place an order, but (much smarter) you avoid situations where you no longer remember which paint or color you previously ordered.

The following data is in your account:

First and last name
We would like to address our customers by name, which we do in the communication about your order, but also your invoice or in the monthly newsletter.

Billing address
We list your address and place of residence on your invoice. This information cannot be changed afterwards. However, you can provide a changed delivery address when placing a new order. This will also be saved here.

Phone number
Does not have to, but can. But we prefer personal contact with you.

Email address
This is also your username to log in to your verf.nl account. We also use your email address to send you personal and general emails. Would you rather not receive emails anymore? Then you can adjust your preferences in your account or unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails themselves.

Password
Your password is stored encrypted and we can never see it.

Order number
We keep track of your orders and save them, so we can find out what you ordered from us and what the status of this order is.

Invoice
The following data is on our invoices: first and last name, address and place of residence, invoice number and order number. The invoice cannot be changed afterwards.

Newsletter
We only send newsletters with your permission. If you no longer want to receive newsletters, you can unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of each newsletter.

Personal advice
When you visit our website, we recognize you as a unique visitor and keep track of your behavior. For example, we look at which pages you visit, which links you click on, and which filters you use. We store this centrally so that we can analyze it all to make our website even better. Of course, we handle your data carefully. And if we involve third parties, we make sure they do too. We also use cookies to get to know you better as a customer. On our cookie page, you can see all the cookies. If you don’t want us to use cookies for you, you can also delete the cookies, and we won’t see you as a unique visitor anymore.

Social Media
We are also active on social media. Facebook and Instagram are platforms we use. You can also watch videos of us on YouTube. On these channels, we show you relevant products, inspirational images, or offers. However, your customer data is never shared with any of these parties.

More information
What are the legal grounds for using your data? According to privacy legislation, we must tell you for which legal grounds we need your data. The most important one is that some data is necessary for the execution of the agreement. We have only made the data mandatory that we actually need to successfully complete your order. In addition, we can also use your data for a legitimate interest. Our interest is to offer you as a customer the most optimal and best service. For example, you receive invitations for reviews so that we can improve our service even further. And our customer service may ask for other data to provide you with the best personal advice. Sometimes you have given us permission to use additional data, such as when you sign up for our newsletters. Of course, we store this permission so that we are sure that you really want this. Who has access to your data? It is important that we only pass on data to other parties if it is necessary for our service provision. And, of course, only the data that is really necessary. This concerns our delivery partner PostNL, they naturally need to know where to deliver the package. As well as payment partners, IT service providers, and parties that collect reviews for us. Parties that have access to your data may only use it to provide you with a service on behalf of verf.nl. We never sell your data to third parties. Where are your data stored? We store your data in different databases. We always apply strict security measures. Your data is almost always stored within the European Union. In the exceptional case that customer data is passed on to countries outside the European Union, we ensure that your privacy is protected appropriately. This has officially been established for a number of countries. Some American parties have registered under the Privacy Shield, which provides adequate protection. Or we work with official model contracts specially drawn up to safeguard your privacy. How long do we keep your data?

  • Where possible, we store your data anonymously.
  • We do not keep camera images from our stores for more than 4 weeks. Unless we find something suspicious and there may be fraud.
  • According to the Tax Authorities, we must keep our administration with your invoice, payment, and order details for 7 years.
  • If you have subscribed to the newsletter or given permission to receive personalized messages, we keep that permission for 5 years. Even if you decide at some point that you no longer want to receive the newsletter or personalized messages, we keep the withdrawal of your request. What are your rights? Would you like more information, change or delete your data, or adjust your email preferences? Of course, you can. Most of it you can do via your account, but you can always contact us by post or email at info@boost3.nl. You will receive a reply from us within 4 days
